The clutch in your car is part of the mechanism that allows you to change gear. When you put your foot on the clutch it separates the engine flywheel and the gearbox allowing you to change gear. Clutches are now hydraulic and as such use a fluid to enable the separation of the gearbox and the engine. Sometimes the fluid can be low or one of the two cylinders could be faulty. We go through a strict diagnostics procedure to make sure you need a clutch before we go ahead. Clutches can be changed at very reasonable rates now thanks to healthy competition from the likes of Mr Clutch and parts prices becoming more reasonable.
