Every car is different, and market conditions are constantly changing. However, given we have all the tools to see how the market is performing, we will give you regular feedback on how your vehicle is priced and how long we would anticipate it would take to sell. We can see how many times your car is viewed, how it is fairing against its competition, and can even see how many people are looking at directions to our showroom! With this data on hand, we've managed an industry-leading average of 45 days to sell.
Especially for high-end vehicles, buyers tend to want to pay with finance, and will often have a high-value part exchange too. As private sellers don't have these facilities, enquiry levels will likely be low. Buyers are also understandably buying a car off of a driveway; buying through a dealer gives them significantly more confidence and protection. Our Sale or Return service removes the risk for both parties.
Keeping your vehicle on site allows us to accommodate walk-in customers and short-notice appointments. However, some customers do need to keep using their car, which is fine as long as we are updated with the mileage on a regular basis, and have your permission to re-adjust the car's price accordingly.
When your car arrives for photography, our Prep Centre will inspect your car and advise on what work the car requires to be in a sellable state. As we provide a 6-month Warranty, we'll need to ensure it is sold with a fresh MOT and recent Service. We will not seek to action any work until you have a confirmed buyer, and you will know any potential cost upfront. For any repair work, we charge a discounted rate to ensure you get best value.
