About the Role:
The Workshop Manager will oversee all workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional service quality, and a safe, organised environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical background and be adept at leading a team with a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the workshop control office and ensure the area maintains top-tier standards and presentation.
- Collaborate with the service reception team daily to prioritize jobs and manage workflow, allocating tasks effectively.
- Ensure optimal use of materials, equipment, and labour to uphold the highest service and repair standards.
- Monitor job progress and promptly inform the service reception team of any delays or issues.
- Strategize to improve productivity and efficiency aligned with company growth plans.
- Oversee clock and time records, ensuring adherence to manufacturer time allocation requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings, ensuring effective communication and team engagement.
- Ensure accurate warranty documentation and assist with warranty claims to maintain compliance.
- Follow quality system procedures and uphold safety standards for all team members and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in Workshop Control (required)
- At least 1 year of experience managing a team (required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 3+ years (required)
- Must hold a valid Driving Licence
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
